When a Photo Isn't a Photo

When a Photo Isn’t a Photo

People are telling us that their pictures are not what they bought and paid for. But (thankfully!) that they love them more for that very reason. To explain this, imagine that your car isn't your car. Or that your favourite jeans aren't really a pair of jeans. In reality, a car can mean status, a statement of success. Those jeans can be a look-good confidence booster. The same thing is true of photographs. Those fantastic images can mean so many different things for you and for the people looking at them. They may be a forever memory for family or friends, the wow factor on your social media, or the professional look for a new employer. It's why we always ask people to think about what they really want before they go in front of the camera. If you know what you're looking for it means we can plan your photoshoot to make sure you get it.

To help, find out more about the questions to ask yourself before you book a photoshoot, how we help you get the shots you want and why, oddly, you don't always need to smile.
